At TripCrafters, we are committed to providing a fair and transparent refund process while ensuring a smooth experience for both agents and travelers. To improve clarity and streamline operations, we are introducing a few key changes to our refund policy.
Why Are We Making These Changes?
We only provide refunds if the traveler has pre-booked or canceled their trip before your first contact.
These cases are rare, typically accounting for only 5-6% of leads. However, every refund request requires verification from the traveler, which can affect their experience. We want our partner agents to use this feature carefully and only for cases that genuinely deserve a refund.
What’s Changing?
15% Refund Cap (Effective April 17th, 2025)
- Starting April 17th, you can apply for refunds up to 15% of the total leads purchased in the last 30 days.
- Until then, you can continue applying for refunds as per the previous policy.
- For agents with fewer than 20 leads purchased in the last 30 days, we will allow up to 3 refund requests, ensuring fairness for those who buy fewer leads.
Real-Time Refund Summary & Warnings if your ratio is very high
- A new Refund Summary Section will be available to agents with a higher-than-usual refund ratio.
- It will display:
- Total leads purchased (last 30 days)
- Total refunds submitted (including auto-rejected ones)
- Refund percentage (%)
- If your refund percentage approaches 10%, a warning message will appear so you can plan accordingly.
Processing Fee for Rejected Refunds Remains the Same
- If a refund request is rejected, a processing fee of:
- 100 credits (Domestic/Outbound leads)
- 300 credits (Inbound leads)
will be deducted from your balance.
Refund Eligibility Criteria Remains the Same
- Refunds are only applicable if the traveler has already pre-booked or canceled their trip before your first contact.
- Leads where the traveler does not answer or respond to calls, emails, or WhatsApps will NOT be eligible for refunds.
When Does This Take Effect?
These changes will go live on April 17th, 2025. Until then, you can continue applying for refunds as per the current system.
